SGT FIRST CLASS JASON B McAmis

Jason will be receiving a promotion in May!! We are so proud of him and of his accomplishments!
He continues to make us proud with his service to our country!
Here is a look at him in his new role!! Doesn't look like a typical soldier anymore does he??!!
Thank you for your continued prayers and support of Jason and Karen and Collin!

More Collin Smiles

Thanks Karen for sending these new smiles that made my day!! Hopefully Collin's Auntie Sheri will bring me some more new pictures to post. Sheri is there visiting Karen and Collin this week! I am so jealous but guess it was Sheri's turn to get in on some visits!!

COLLIN'S FIRST EASTER

Karen and Collin traveld to VA to spend Easter with Collin's Auntie Laura and Uncle Tommy!

Isn't he just a handsome little man all dressed up in his Easter Outfit!

Love this look!!

Auntie Laura has a new kitten, Mia. Mia and Collin loved to share nap time! I wondered what Mia will think of Collin when he is old enough to pull her tail!!

We had a wonderful Easter Celebration at Countryside Community Church! What a wonderful reminder of who we are in Christ and what He did for each one of us! Then we got to have a dinner celebration with Bruce and Peggy and Shaun and Sheri! I love having family close enough for holiday dinners. Hope you had a great Easter too! Thanks for checking in on us!

CUTE COLLIN!--HE IS TWO MONTHS TODAY!!

Karen is so good to post pictures on her face book page so Jason can check in and see just how big our little guy is getting and so he can get in on some of the cute smiles!! So...I am snitching some of her pix so you blog readers can enjoy them too!

It is so hard to believe that he is already two months old!! and that his Daddy has been gone for one month! Alvin and I got to talk to Jason yesterday--it was so good to hear his voice even though it is a bit distorted over the satellite phone--it's hard for me to have a conversation with him because I always want to ask all of the mom questions--"where are you, what are you doing and who are you with??"!! And I can't ask any of those so we try to have a conversation in code!!! He did say he was doing well and "things" were going good!
Thanks for checking in on us and for keeping Jason, Karen and Collin in your prayers!
