We have held Karen in our hearts through this deployment as much of a hero as Jason is! They both have sacrificed so much for our country and we honor both of them! The above picture is Karen talking on the phone to Jason! The only place you can get cell phone reception at the ranch is on top of the cellar hill! So.....Karen wasn't going to let anything stop her from getting a chance to talk to Jason so up the hill she went!! I love this picture but I am very happy to report that Karen isn't going to have to climb hills or run for cell phone calls much longer!!!HE IS COMING HOME!!!!!!!!!!!
Jason should be in the United Sates and back to their home in North Carolina before the end of next week! Karen is still at her folks so she is packing and preparing for the trip from Wisconsin to North Carolina! I am so proud of this little family and can't wait for them to be together and for Jason to get to know his son!
