Grandpa Alvin's Favorite Picture from My Trip!

Collin's Daddy at 3 months!



Everyone always asks who Collin looks like so I thought it would be fun to post one of my favorite pictures of Jason when he was 3 months old. This was the first studio picture we had taken of him. I think it's really cute! I 'm not sure if I think Collin looks more like his mommy or his daddy! I certainly think he favors the Sateren side a bit more but his Great Grandma Peggy thinks he looks like his daddy in through the eyes! What do you think??

WHAT A GREAT TRIP!!!

I have had such a good time this week with Karen and Collin--we have gone shopping, some fun dinners out, went to church and Sunday School, taken walks with the dogs, played on the floor with Collin, read books to him, let Mommy get some naps while Grandma got in on some cuddle time with Collin, and lots more!! It has been wonderful and I hate to leave!! Enjoy a few pictures from our week!!

HE'S SMILING! Karen and I have been treated to some smiles the past couple days but we have had trouble getting them on camera!! As soon as we get the camera he stops!! We have gotten few but will keep trying--I just wanted to share the first ones with you--he is so cute!!!

THE POKEY LITTLE PUPPY

When Collin gets his diaper changed he also gets to hear his Daddy reading him the Pokey Little Puppy! Before Jason left it was his job to do the diaper changing so Karen thought to keep daddy involved in that chore she would play a recording of Jason reading! The Pokey Little Puppy just happened to be Jason's favorite story when he was little! So they recorded it! It's so cute and Collin listens so intently! Jason and Karen have done such a good job making the best of this deployment!

COLLIN TIME!!

I am so enjoying visiting with Karen and Collin!! We have had fun just hanging out--Karen has taken care of some errands she needed to do while Grandma is here to stay with Collin!! I know my time here will go way too fast!

MORE COLLIN CUTENESS!!!

Karen shared some pictures today so thought I'd pass a few new ones on tonight!! I think he gets cuter by the day!!! I just love them!! Can't wait until Wednesday!!!

HAPPY 27TH BIRTHDAY SHAUN

It is hard to believe our Shaun is 27!! I'm not sure where the time has gone!! I miss the days of my two cute little boys playing at the frog pond! But I am so PROUD of the wonderful young men that both of boys have grown up to be! The picture was taken this past fall when the guys had a chance to once again "play" together out at the ranch! Looking forward to have more times with all of us together!!
