BEFORE DADDY LEFT.........

I know that I have said it several times on this blog how proud I am of Jason, Karen and Collin at how they handle Jason's deployment but I will say it again........I am so proud of them--they take a tough situation and make the best of it! Jason is gone again for now and Karen is at home keeping things going while he is gone! I am so proud of both of them and am thankful that they are so dedicated to serving our country! So before Jason left they took care of some things like having Collin enjoy his birthday cake--a little early but by the looks of the pictures I think he loved it!!! Enjoy the pictures!!!

As Karen put on her facebook the other day.....Goodbyes don't get easier.....thanks for holding this family and Jason's team up in your prayers!

Cheryl Grandpa Bruce and Jason deep sea fishing.

Jason wanted to pay his Grandpa Bruce back for all of the fishing trips he took him on so he arranged a deep sea fishing excursion. They were all disappointed they didn't catch anything!

Alvin and His little sis enjoying the cruise! We were so thankful that Cheryl was able to join us--she helped make it possible for Grandma and Grandpa to cruise with us!

THE CRUISE!!!

Not even sure where to start.......what a week! We had a wonderful time with family and new experiences! I would highly recommend a cruise for a family adventure! We left Miami last Monday evening and headed toward Key West, then on to Cozumel and then a day at sea. If there was a downer at all on the trip it was the weather--although I shouldn't complain--I could have been home in -17 weather! We did have some winds that dampened some of the on and off ship fun and some cooler than normal temperatures so we didn't get as much fun in the sun as we wanted but overall it was a terrific trip! But when you are with the cutest grand baby in the world and 15 other favorite people what can you expect!!

OFF AND RUNNING-well at least walking!!

I can't believe he is just 10 months old and walking already! Oh poor Karen her job just got even harder!!

We are counting the days until we are all together--can't wait to spend time with ALL of my family on the cruise--there will be 18 of us! How fun is that going to be--I will get lots of pictures!!

TEN MONTHS OF COLLIN CUTENESS!!

WOW CAN YOU BELIEVE OUR LITTLE ONE IS 10 MONTHS OLD TODAY!! I got the joy of spending some time on the web cam with him and his Daddy and Mommy tonight! What fun! I am so thankful that technology is available so we get to see him and enjoy some of his cuteness! Karen and Jason are SO good at sending pictures and getting on the web cam! Web cam time just does this Grandma good!! He (and his Mommy and Daddy) have had a couple rough weeks dealing with double ear infection! Poor little family! But it looked tonight that he was on the mend--hopefully he'll start sleeping so they can sleep too!

Thanks to Elizabeth! We had a great night and enjoyed having several of our friends stop in with their little ones--wish this cute little Giraffe could have stopped by too but we are thankful for pictures!!
